YPC International College & ACCA Malaysia MOU Signing Ceremony
22 January 2026 – A meaningful collaboration was marked through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between ACCA Malaysia and YPC International College, reinforcing a shared commitment to developing future-ready Accounting and Finance graduates. The partnership enhances industry-aligned education by offering professional pathways, sponsorship opportunities for eligible students, increased industry exposure, and stronger employability. Pongal Celebration at YPC International College
22 January 2026 – YPC International College recently celebrated Pongal, the harvest festival that honours gratitude, prosperity, and new beginnings. The event brought together Malaysian and international students to experience cultural traditions, including the iconic boiling of the Pongal pot symbolising abundance and good fortune. Students also organised a Pongal-themed treasure hunt, adding fun and excitement to the celebration. 26 January 2026 – The LJMU Malaysian Alumni Association was officially relaunched at the British Council Malaysia, marking a significant milestone for Liverpool John Moores University in Malaysia. The event brought together distinguished guests, valued partners, and alumni, reaffirming the strong collaboration between LJMU, YPC International College, and British Council Malaysia. Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia Policy Update & Roundtable Discussion
Kuala Lumpur, 22 January 2026 — YPC International College was honoured to participate in a high-level roundtable discussion held in conjunction with the UK Higher Education Mission to Malaysia 2026, led by the British Council in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MoHE), Universities UK International (UUKi), the UK Department for Business and Trade, and supported by the British High Commission in Malaysia. The roundtable brought together senior policymakers, institutional leaders, and higher education stakeholders from both countries to discuss the future direction of UK–Malaysia collaboration. Discussions focused on strengthening institutional partnerships, expanding transnational education (TNE), enhancing research and innovation, and promoting student and academic mobility. Participants highlighted the growing importance of international cooperation in addressing global education challenges and preparing graduates for an increasingly interconnected workforce. Emphasis was also placed on sustainable partnership models, quality assurance in cross-border education, and the role of higher education in supporting economic and social development.
