Diploma In Creative Multimedia (DCM) - Programme Overview
The Diploma in Creative Multimedia programme is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills in graphic design and multimedia. This flexible programme enables students to specialise in the course whilst getting a feel for different art forms.
Students will build their skills upon the foundation of drawing, typography, animation and visual communication while advancing their technical skills with the thriving new media technology and platform.
Each graduate will be fluent in all technology associated to producing multimedia content, such as animation and video, and will be able to think creatively while implementing multimedia related tasks.
This course provides students with cutting-edge design expertise as well as the most recent industry multimedia applications such as Adobe design software as a learning method to guarantee their advantages in a variety of industries.
YPC’s close links with creative industries have resulted in collaborations, ‘live’ projects and internship opportunities, all of which are essential preparation for students to embark on an entrepreneurial journey, enter the job market or enrol directly into year 1 or year 2 of a prestigious degree that is offered in Malaysia or abroad.
