Programme Overview

The Diploma in Computer Science (Cyber Security) programme is designed to cover the fundamental concepts underlying the construction of secure systems that includes information, network, hardware and software.

The programme aims to equip students with analytical and technical skills necessary in the areas of network security, software security and digital forensics such as installing and configuring critical software, monitoring networks, responding to cyber attacks, assessing threats, and finding and fixing vulnerabilities.

The programme also exposes students to the principles and practices of digital and cybersecurity. Graduates of the programme will be groomed for entry-level cybersecurity positions who are capable of helping organisations to secure computer and network resources as well as critical and sensitive information.

The programme also paves the pathway for students to embark enrol directly into year 1 or year 2 of prestigious UK degree that is offered in Malaysia or abroad.

  • A pass in SPM/O-Level/IGCSE with a minimum of 3 credits in any subjects including Mathematics; OR

  • A pass in other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government of Malaysia
